The questions parents actually ask
What age is this really for?+
Designed around 8 to 14. Ability and patience differ a lot between children, and the younger end is more likely to want a parent nearby at the start. Below about seven the hook can be genuinely fiddly; above fourteen the adult beginner course may feel more appropriate.
Does my child need crochet experience?+
No. It starts from how to hold the hook, how to control the yarn and how to make the first chain.
Do I need to know crochet?+
No. You do not need to become their crochet teacher. For the first lesson, help them get set up, then let the video do the teaching.
How much do I need to help?+
Some help at the beginning is normal, especially for younger children. The course is designed to need less of you as they understand more.
What materials are required?+
A 5 mm hook and chunky yarn — about ₹300 in most craft shops. The parent starter guide names exactly what to pick up. There is also a kit if you would rather it arrived in a box.
Is the hook safe?+
A 5 mm hook is blunt-tipped and easier to control than the thin hooks adults often use. Supervise according to your child's age and how they handle tools.
Is this screen-free?+
No. It is screen-guided, hands-on learning: they watch a short instruction, pause, put the device down and do the work with hook and yarn.
Is it in Hindi or English?+
Both. The same lesson exists in each and you switch with one tap.
