This was actually my third attempt at learning crochet. The first two times I bought yarn, watched YouTube for a few days, couldn’t understand what my hands were doing and eventually put everything back in the cupboard. I genuinely thought maybe crochet just wasn’t for me. This time I started from the very beginning instead of jumping between videos. But when I gave it to her she looked at me and said, ‘Wait, YOU made this?’ I don’t know why that felt so much better than giving her something I had ordered online. Now half the things I make already have someone’s name attached to them before they’re finished.

I'll be honest, I hesitated because I'd never heard of them and I was paying up front. I paused for two months when work got heavy. Took one click, no email chain, no one trying to talk me out of it, and everything I'd already downloaded was still mine when I came back. That is genuinely rare and it is why I went annual afterwards.

The live session is the part I underrated. You watch someone make the mistake you're about to make and ask about it in real time. And if you miss it the replay is up the same night — I've watched most of them at eleven pm with the sound low.

I don't make everything that comes out — probably half of it isn't my style. But two patterns a year that I'd have paid for individually already covers it, and I've had more than two. Would like a few more home pieces and fewer wearables, personally.

I joined on the free month fully intending to cancel on day twenty-nine. What stopped me was finding the cancel button on the first try, in my account, with no chat window and nobody offering me a discount to stay. A company that makes leaving easy is one I'll keep paying.

The pattern I downloaded in my first month is still in my account after eight months, which is what I wanted to know before I put a card in. You keep what you took. That is not how most subscriptions work and it is why I recommend this one.

Good, though the first month being free made me lazy — I didn't open it until week three and then had to catch up. Set yourself a reminder. The value is in doing that month's project while everyone else is doing it.

₹899 is roughly one pattern bought elsewhere, and there are four a month plus the call. I did that sum before joining and I have done it again since. It is not close.

Nine months in. Month one I made ₹4,200 and thought I had wasted the fee. Month four was ₹21,000 and last month was ₹34,600, and the shape of that curve is exactly what the course said it would be. If I had judged it at month two I would have quit.

I already knew how to crochet. What I did not know was what to make that people buy, what to charge, or how to get anyone to see it. The Instagram section is not generic advice — it is what to post for a craft product specifically, and my first reel from that template did 40,000 views.

The bit nobody else teaches is what to do when the orders arrive. I had eleven at once in December and no system, and the batching and stock chapters are the only reason I did not miss the whole festive season.

Four stars, and I would still buy it again. It is a lot of material and I put off starting for three weeks because of that. Do the first module and one product before you watch anything else — that is the advice I would give myself.

I picked the tote first because I wanted something I would actually carry. It came out well enough that two people asked where I bought it, which is not something I expected to be saying four months after starting.

Good value and well filmed. One of the three was easier than I expected for the level it is listed at — no complaint, just be aware you may finish it in an afternoon.

Ordered on a Sunday, arrived Wednesday in Aligarh, everything wrapped separately and labelled with which lesson it belongs to. I have bought yarn locally for years and this is better yarn than my shop stocks.

The hooks have the soft grip, which I did not realise mattered until I used a metal one at a friend's house and my hand hurt after ten minutes. If you have any wrist trouble, get the kit rather than the cheapest hooks you can find.

Everything arrived and the quality is genuinely good. I would have liked a small pair of scissors in it — a tiny thing, and I mention it only because everything else was thought through.
